Jeffrey S. Edwards Jeff Edwards joined the firm in 2003. He has been a trial lawyer since graduating from the University of Texas School of Law and LBJ School of Public Affairs with a joint degree in law and public policy. Mr. Edwards received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College in 1993, and taught sixth grade in the Rio Grande Valley for two years as part of the Teach for America program before entering law school. Mr. Edwards spent the first four years of his practice at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison where he specialized in securities fraud, complex commercial disputes, and civil rights litigation. He also ran the firm’s pro bono efforts in Texas. Mr. Edwards currently is a director on the boards of Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas, the Austin Young Lawyers Association, and Peer Assistance Group of America. He is also a member of the Travis County Bar Association, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association, and the State Bar of Texas. Jeff grew up in Connecticut and his wife, Allison, grew up in Houston, but they now consider Austin home. Recently, they had their first child, Bering. Mr. Edwards is licensed to practice before the State Bar of Texas; the United States District Court, Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas; and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. |
