Sally S. Metcalfe

Sally Metcalfe joined the firm in 1993. She was born in Dallas and raised in Arlington, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University where she received a BBA degree in Finance in 1988. She worked as a Treasury Analyst for Tenneco Gas in Houston, Texas before attending law school at the University of Texas in Austin. She received her law degree in 1993.

While at the University of Texas, Sally served as a Teaching Quizmaster and was a member of the National Order of Barristers. Since joining the firm, she has handled a variety of cases involving issues of product liability, medical negligence, and drug and medical device cases.

Ms. Metcalfe’s professional associations include the Travis County Bar Association, Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association, Travis County Women Lawyers’ Association, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Austin Young Lawyers Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the State Bar of Texas, and the American Bar Association.

Sally and her husband, Steve, have two children. She is active in the community with Meals on Wheels, United Way, and Saint David’s Episcopal Church. She also serves on the Board of Texas Legal Services Center.

Ms. Metcalfe is admitted to practice before the State Bar of Texas: the United States District Court, Western District of Texas; and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit.
